Ninja Review

August 6, 2008

Profit is a very important part of being in business, so the choices you make when buying your equipment will affect how much money you make. you have to think hard if spending many thousands of pounds on a truck mount will make you more money?

With fuel cost going though the roof it makes sense to use a portable carpet cleaning extraction machine. use it with a good carpet cleaning product. i use micro splitters, and a rotary machine and you will get a great result. i was going to say as good as a truck mount but, that would be wrong.

Carpet cleaning is about breaking that bond between dirt and carpet. why would you use a truck mount when if you vacuum like you should most of the loss dirt will be out, and you are left with only a small percentage bonded to the carpet fibers.

using a truck mount to remove this small percentage is a waste of investment and like using a hammer to creak a nut. investing in a very good vacuum is much wiser.

I use a ninja, but i like most portables, they give value for money. you can talk all day about the downside of using a truck mount but if you have the money to buy and run one then that’s your choice. but if you don’t have the cash then think hard first. every time you buy something on credit the price you for for that item goes up. because you have to account for the charge for credit.

compare the cash price with the total price plus the credit charge. remember you have to earn this money. so every week you first have to earn your overhead first before you make any money. depending on how high your overheads are will reflect the point at which you start to make money for yourself.

I know people that spend tens of thousands investing in equipment. and the only benefit to their customer is zero. it only benefit’s you is setup times.

customer satisfaction and profit are why we are in business. remember this next time you about to sign a contract.

To illustrate the fact that a high percentage of dirt in a carpet is dry and not bonded to the fiber please watch the two videos below. As i said its only a small amount bonded to the fiber and that need breaking down. so why would you need to use a highly expensive Truck mount to remove such a small amount. when a high end vaccumand some basic knowledge of cleaning science will do the job, using a lot less energy.

I know the example is a tool for rug cleaning but you get the idea.

Max Reach With A Portable HWE

April 9, 2007

 Hi Guys

Just got myself a ninja and was interested in the add on vac box that they sell. that got me thinking, how about hocking up a second machine and save the £600 that they want for the vac box. then i thought how about hocking up a solution booster box as well. give a four vac system.

The reason for this is “reach” when working in a home sometimes you need the reach if its a large home with more that one floor. with this setup you can and add and remove parts as needed. plus how about hocking up a second ninja if you carry one as a spare?

with high-end tools you should be able to reduce drying times as well.

One other benefit is that if you are marketing the Eco approach it not like a truck mount where you switch it on and have max power all the time wasting energy, you have the option to use as much or as little as you need.

with respect you all know the shorter the hose the faster the drying time, if the recommended working hose length is 100ft then adding extra vac bower (air flow) will benefit these times

anyway here is the video
